SPEEDCHECKERPRIVACY PROTOCOL

PROTOCOL // PRIVACY

Privacy, without the fog.

This notice explains what happens to technical data when you use the SPEEDCHECKER speed test.

01 — What we collect

SPEEDCHECKER does not require an account and does not intentionally store your test history. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal data.

02 — Speed test traffic

To measure latency, download, and upload performance, your browser connects directly to Cloudflare’s public speed test infrastructure. Cloudflare necessarily receives network information such as your IP address, request timing, and transferred data. Cloudflare’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.

03 — Fonts and third parties

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When those files are requested, Google may receive standard connection information, including your IP address and browser details.

04 — Sharing results

The Share button uses your device’s native sharing feature when available. Otherwise, it copies a plain text result to your clipboard. SPEEDCHECKER does not receive the destination, recipient, or content you choose to share.

05 — Local data

Current test results exist only in the active browser session and disappear when the page is refreshed or closed. We do not currently use persistent browser storage for test results.

06 — Updates

We may revise this protocol when the service changes. The latest version published here applies to your use of SPEEDCHECKER.
