SPEEDCHECKER

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

SpeedChecker ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what data we use when you run a speed test and how it is handled.

What we measure

When you start a test, your browser exchanges data directly with measurement servers (Cloudflare) to calculate your download speed, upload speed and latency. These transfers are temporary and are used only to compute your result in real time.

Network & location information

To show your internet provider and approximate city, we look up your public IP address through third-party services (ipwho.is, ipapi.co). We do not store your IP address, and we do not link results to your identity.

Cookies & advertising

SpeedChecker may display ads served by third parties, including Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, country, device type). This data is anonymous and is not used to identify individuals.

Your choices

You can decline non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any consent banner shown. Speed tests work without an account; we never ask for personal data.
