SPEEDCHECKERTERMS OF SERVICE

PROTOCOL // TERMS

Simple rules for a simple test.

By accessing or using SPEEDCHECKER, you agree to these Terms of Service.

01 — Purpose

SPEEDCHECKER provides an informational estimate of your internet connection's performance, including latency, download speed, and upload speed. The service is not a certified diagnostic tool, contractual service-level measurement, legal evidence, or guarantee of network quality.

02 — Accuracy of Results

Test results may vary due to factors including Wi-Fi conditions, device performance, browser limitations, VPNs, network congestion, server distance, routing changes, and other network activity. Browser-based latency measurements may differ from ICMP ping values reported by operating systems or native applications.

SPEEDCHECKER does not guarantee the accuracy, consistency, or suitability of test results for technical, commercial, legal, or regulatory purposes.

03 — Data Usage

Running a speed test transfers data through your internet connection. The amount of data used depends on connection speed, test duration, and network conditions.

Repeated testing, particularly on high-speed connections, may consume a significant amount of bandwidth. You are solely responsible for any mobile-data, bandwidth, roaming, overage, or provider charges resulting from use of the service.

04 — Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access to the service at any time when necessary to protect system stability, security, or availability.

05 — Third-Party Services

SPEEDCHECKER currently relies on services operated by third parties, including Cloudflare network infrastructure and Google Fonts.

These services operate independently from SPEEDCHECKER and may change, restrict access, experience outages, or discontinue functionality without notice. SPEEDCHECKER is not responsible for the availability, policies, or performance of third-party services.

06 — Disclaimer of Warranties

SPEEDCHECKER is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SPEEDCHECKER makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free functionality, or the continued availability of any feature.

07 — Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPEEDCHECKER and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service.

This includes, but is not limited to, inaccurate results, interrupted tests, loss of data, network issues, service outages, provider actions, or business losses.

08 — Changes

We may update the service or these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of SPEEDCHECKER after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
