What to include

• Bug reports: your device and browser, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps enormously.
• Odd test results: tell us whether you were on Wi-Fi or a cable, and roughly where you are — many "weird" results are explained by the connection path, and we can usually point you to the reason.
• Guide ideas: if a speed or networking question isn't covered in our guides, we'd genuinely like to know — reader questions are where most of our guides come from.

Before you write

Two quick answers to the most common questions we get:

• "Is the test really free?" Yes — free, no signup, no installs, supported by ads. That's the whole model.
• "Why is my result lower than my plan?" Nine times out of ten: Wi-Fi. Our guide on why your internet is slow walks you through finding the exact cause in about fifteen minutes.
